SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A holiday party was thrown for children at the University United Methodist Church on Tuesday. The East Genesee Regent Association put together the food and fun for more than 100 children in the neighborhood.
All the kids got to take part in activities like face-painting, crafts and a visit from Mega Bubble Man.
"It's a way for our association to give back to some of the people living in the area. It's for the kids,” said Alan Rothschild, East Genesee Regent Association.
Even Otto the Orange stopped by to check out the fun. East Genesee Street businesses help put together the party each year, donating gifts, food and refreshments.
