WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- As the various regions of the state wonder how Governor Andrew Cuomo's proposed budget will affect them, state leaders are making the rounds, hoping to answer some questions.

Lieutenant Governor Robert Duffy traveled north to Watertown Thursday. He outlined the budget and its various details to a large crowd at the State Office Building.

Duffy touched a little on each of the budget's topics and praised the governor for his work in putting together a plan he says is the right one.

Those in the crowd say having the presentation brought to them, makes it much easier to understand the facts surrounding it.

"Especially in today's age when everybody is arguing about everything and everybody is wondering about health care, about gun control, about the farm bills and education. Everything and everything," said Watertown resident Nicola Luciani.

Cuomo expects New York to spend about $143 billion in this proposal. ClientIP:, UserAgent: CCBot/2.0 ( Profile: TWCSAMLSP
